Stefan Toffat

Stefan Toffat wrote several Inspector Spacetime episodes for the new series under David P. Russell before taking over the position of script editor at the beginning of the Eleventh Inspector's era. In addition to creating the Snarling Lions and the Cacophony, he is well known for coming up with "campy" monsters, such as the Mechanical Turks ("The Boy on the Mantle"), the Snow Angels ("A Christmas Story"), and the Pokerfaces ("Pokers and Tongs"). Toffat divides his time between Inspector Spacetime and the acclaimed new BTV series The Lost World, which gives a completely modern spin to A. Conan Doyle's classic hero Professor Challenger.
